Booking Fees – Until 31st December 2021

Large Hall* (Due to current COVID-19 restrictions no kitchen facilities are included in the hire)
Residents
£18.10 per hour (Until 6pm)
£22.60 per hour (From 6pm onwards)

Non-Residents
£.28.10 per hour

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, both kitchens are not in use.
Hire of large hall includes use of all tables and chairs.

Discounts for regular bookings of more than 30 hours per year are available please email for more details.

Large Kitchen is closed until further notice due to COVID-19 restrictions
Fully equipped kitchen suitable for catering an event.
£15.00 flat rate when booked with large hall
£16.00 per hour if booked on its own.

Alcohol & Late Licence
The hall has a licence for the sale of alcohol and music can be played until 11pm Monday-Thursday and until 2am** Fridays & Saturdays.
Use of licence: £26.50 per hire
** Doors and windows must be closed from 11pm irrespective of day to avoid disturbing residents

Damage Deposits:
Bookings require a damage deposit payable before the start of the hire via bank transfer, which is returned by bank transfer, all being well after the hall has been checked.

Children’s Party  – £200
Party’s where alcohol will be served (whether or not it is sold) £500

Booking Process

  1. Check the calendar (below) – it shows the hall availability.
  2. Contact the Hall Manager (contact details below) and provisionally book an available date and time. The provisional booking will be held for one week, and you will be advised of the cost of hire and the required deposit.
  3. Fill in a hiring agreement and send this with the appropriate hire charge and deposit to the Hall Manager. By signing this form you agree and accept the hire conditions. Calendar

Payment
Due to COVID-19 we ask all payments are made by bank transfer (details on booking form) but can also accept payment by cheque (payable to: Hermitage Village Hall). Please Note that the balance of bookings must be paid in full before the hire starts.

If you are required to pay a refundable damage deposits this must be paid by bank transfer before the start of the booking or by cheque at least 7 days before the hire to allow time for clearing, we no longer accept this in cash.
